    Familia Dental is hiring a Dental Assistant at its Madison, WI office, on the West side of Madison.


    The position can be either full-time or part-time. The office is open Monday through Saturday, and may require working Saturdays, as needed.


    Full-time employees would be eligible for substantial paid time off and an attractive benefits package that includes medical, prescription, dental, vision and life insurance.


    The hourly rate of pay would depend upon experience level and type.


    This is an ideal opportunity for individuals who have recently obtained a Dental Assisting diploma or certificate, Medical Assistants or individuals who have recently obtained a Medical Assisting diploma or certificate, or individuals who have held a clerical/front desk role within a dental office. Paid training would be provided.

    • Prepare treatment rooms, instruments and tray setups for dental procedures.
    • Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment.
    • Expose and mount dental diagnostic x-rays.
    • Assist the dentist during examinations and treatment procedures.
    • Record medical and dental histories and vital signs of patient.
    • Record treatment information in patient records.
    • Actively participates in the achievement of patient satisfaction and office production goals by working efficiently and providing a high level of patient service.
    • Assist with other duties as needed.


    • 3 months of dental assisting experience is preferred, or a current Dental Assisting diploma or certificate.
    • Medical Assistants and individuals who have worked in a clerical or receptionist role within a dental office are highly encouraged to apply.
    • Ability to multi-task efficiently within a fast-paced environment
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Ability to provide quality patient care and work well with doctors and other staff
